This piece is about embracing the fire within. As a Phoenix she is not scared of who or what she is, nor does she feel fear of becoming all of who she can be. The Phoenix is an ancient figure and depicted in modern super hero films and in some of those she is afraid of herself. I wanted to portray her with no fear and fully accepting of her light and her own darkness.
