My submission for the Venus rising exhibit is an originally composed song and music video. Display needs would probably include a pedestal and a television set with sound. Audio and accompanying video all composed on my iPhone.
A short statement of the proposed artwork's relationship to the theme of "Venus Rising, A Celebration of Women (150-500 words).
“Becoming” Is an original song composed by Becky Sinn. It is a somber celebration of the resilience and determination of women. A woman will do what she feels she has to do. Whether it is finding a home within herself, dancing through tragedy, or leaving this plane all together. She will do what she believes she needs to do, without fear. It is for a lost mother her friends and her daughter left behind.
